In 1990, Rachel graduated summa cum laude from Christian Heritage College (now San Diego Christian College) with a BA in International Business. She was rewarded the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst® in 2002. Rachel is a current member of the Portland Society of Financial Analysts and the CFA Institute.

California Native. Originally a Bay Area resident, Rachel attended college in San Diego where she met her husband, Dave. In 1990, they married and moved to the Portland area.
Hobbies. Whenever Rachel has free time, she loves to read, play soccer, and play piano.
Grilled Cheese, Please. If Rachel could only eat one meal for the rest of her life, it would be grilled cheese on sourdough bread.
Family Life. Between 1995 and 2002, Rachel had four children. Rachel and her husband Dave spend much of their free time supporting their kids at various sporting events, concerts, and other activities.
Rachel has coached high school women’s basketball alongside her husband for over twenty years. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Damascus Christian Education Foundation. Rachel is also involved with the Recovery Association Project (RAP), which provides housing solutions for those recovering from addictions. She has volunteered with the YMCA and Habitat for Humanity in the past.

Rachel is a partner and portfolio manager at SGA. She and Roger began working together at A.G. Edwards in 1991. From 1993-1995, Rachel taught at a private school in Oregon City and worked on a part-time basis for Western Pacific Investment Advisers (WPIA) as the business was starting up. She began to work full-time for WPIA in 1998, where she was on the Board of Directors and served as the Secretary/Treasurer. When Western Pacific was purchased by Coldstream Capital Management (CCM) in 2005, Rachel was employed for three years by CCM as part of the research team.
In 2002, she was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. She is a member of the Portland Society of Financial Analysts and the CFA Institute. Her experience in the business over the years has included research, portfolio strategy, compliance, and business and database management. As a key team member for Summa Global Advisors, she is able to utilize her broad investment expertise daily.
